(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged in relation to an impaired driving investigation in Simcoe.

Officers located the vehicle and, following an interaction with the driver, took them into custody without incident.

As a result, 42-year-old Jacob VANEVERA of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

• Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, - Failure or refusal to comply with demand, - Have care or control of vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available, - Having care or control of a motor vehicle with open container of liquor

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
