(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) - Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a serious collision that took place around 10:40am on May 30, 2025.

City of Kawartha Lakes OPP along with fire and EMS were dispatched to a collision on Lindsay Street by Green Road in Fenelon Falls. A pedestrian crossing Lindsay Street was struck by a motor vehicle that was travelling northbound on Lindsay Street.  

Lindsay Street was closed while members trained in collision reconstruction measured and documented the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
