ARREST MADE AFTER COLLISION
(BROCKTON, ON) - On December 5, 2025, at approximately 5:45 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a collision on Concession 22, Municipality of Brockton.
Police attended the scene and discovered a pick-up truck in the ditch. The driver did not remain at the scene of the collision but was located nearby shortly thereafter. While interacting with the driver, the investigating officer detected signs of impairment. They were taken into custody and transported for further testing.
Shawn WOODWARD, 28-years-old, resident of Chesley was charged with:
- Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80+, CC 320.14(1)(b)
The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on January 21, 2026, to answer to the charge.
