(HALDIMAND COUNTY) - An individual has been charged following an assault investigation.

On May 23, 2025, members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault on Lock Street in Dunnville.

At the time, the victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

On June 1, 2025, 26-year-old Dawson DRENNAN of Dunnville was taken into custody and has been charged with:
