ARREST MADE RELATED TO DOMESTIC DISPUTE
(PETERBOROUGH COUNTY, ON) - Officers from the Peterborough County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual after being called to a residence related to intimate partner violence (IPV).
On July 28, 2025, just prior to 2:00pm, Peterborough County OPP Officers were dispatched to a report of an assault that had taken place at a residence in Peterborough County. The caller advised that their grandchild had contacted them and advised that their parents had been in a fight. Officers attended and after speaking with all the parties involved, an arrest was made.
A 43-year-old male was arrested and charged with:
- Assault
The accused was held for Bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough.
