(BROCKTON, ON) - On October 26, 2025, at approximately 8:50 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic hazard along Sideroad 30 N, south of Chesley.

Police were contacted by a concerned member of the public who discovered a recently damaged vehicle stopped in a live lane, with the driver slouched over behind the wheel. Officers attended and made contact with the driver; police then detected signs of impairment. The driver was taken into custody and transported for further testing.

Dominic MCGRAIL, 21-years-old, resident of Hanover, was charged with:

• Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80+, CC 320.14(1)(b)
• Dangerous Operation, CC 320.13(1)

The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on December 10, 2025, to answer to the charges.
