(HALDIMAND COUNTY) - On June 28th, 2025, shortly after 7:42 pm, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand Detachment attended Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga for reports of an assault involving an edged weapon.

Officers arrived on scene and an individual was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The accused was taken into custody.

Jenkin CHU, 34-year-old of Richmond Hill, has been charged with the following offence:

• Assault With a Weapon

The accused is schedule to appear on July 29, 2025, before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga.
