(BLUEWATER, ON) - On Thursday, September 25th, 2025, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault on Dashwood Main Street in the Village of Dashwood, Municipality of Bluewater.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed assaults on two separate victims.

The suspect was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

Remy KNOL, 67 years-of-age from South Huron has been charged with:

• Assault - (two counts)

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich on November 03, 2025.
