(BLUEWATER, ON) - On Saturday, September 27th, 2025, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault at an address on Oxford Street West in the Village of Hensall, Municipality of Bluewater.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed an assault on another individual.

The suspect was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

Nickolas ELLIOTT, 34 years-of-age from Huron East has been charged with:

• Assault with a Weapon, - Mischief Under $5,000, - Fail to Comply with Probation

The accused was processed, held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich on October 27, 2025.
