(BANCROFT, ON) - Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a driver after locating a vehicle in the ditch.

On Sunday, November 9, 2025, just before 10:30 pm, Bancroft OPP officers attended the scene of the collision. Officers located the driver of the vehicle a short time later at which time they were arrested. The driver was transported to the detachment for testing.

As a result, Cristopher ROBINSON, a 44-year-old resident of Bancroft, has been charged with:

• Fail to comply with probation order
• Refusal to comply with demand

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on December 2, 2025.
