(BANCROFT, ON)   - Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested one person in relation to a disturbance.

On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, shortly after 8:30 pm, officers were investigating a disturbance in the Town of Bancroft. During the investigation it was determined that one person had breached the conditions on their release order.

As a result, Paul MONTGOMERY, 43, of Bancroft has been charged with two counts of failure to comply with a release order and utter threats.

The accused was held for bail and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on July 3, 2025.
