(GRAND BEND, ON) - One individual has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic stop in Grand Bend.
On June 21, 2025, at approximately 5:15 pm, while conducting bicycle patrol, a member of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Queens Avenue in Grand Bend.
As a result of the investigation, Tonia LANGILLE, 26-year-old of Grand Bend, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on July 22, 2025.
