(BRANT, ON) - On August 11, 2025, at approximately 4:10 am, members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an incident on Highway 403 in Brantford, near the West Street overpass.

One person has been pronounced deceased. The investigation is ongoing.

The eastbound lanes of Highway 403 are closed between the King George Road on-ramp and the Wayne Gretzky Parkway off-ramp and are expected to remain closed for several hours.
