(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged three people following a break and enter call for service.

On Thursday, November 27, 2025, at approximately 2:10 pm, Renfrew OPP officers responded to a break and enter call for service, in Admaston/Bromley Township.

As a result of the investigation three people were charged.

James BROOKS age 41 of Kingston was charged with:

  • Break and enter a place- commit indictable offence
  • Mischief- destroys or damages property
  • Theft under $5000
  • Fail to comply with probation order

BROOKS was held for a bail hearing.

Brandy GALLAGHER age 47 of Loyalist Township was charged with:

  • Break and enter a place- commit indictable offence
  • Mischief- destroys or damages property
  • Theft under $5000
  • Fail to comply with probation order

GALLAGHER was held for a bail hearing.

Carol SMITH age 60 of Bonnechere Valley Township was charged with:

  • Break and enter a place- commit indictable offence
  • Mischief- destroys or damages property
  • Theft under $5000
  • Fail to comply with probation order

SMITH was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on January 14, 2025.
