BREAK AND ENTER INVESTIGATION - SAUGEEN FIRST NATION

(SAUGEEN FIRST NATION ON) - On September 1, 2025, at approximately 2:16 am, members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break and enter at a business located on Highway 21 in Saugeen First Nation.

Upon arrival, officers confirmed that two unknown individuals had forcibly gained entry to the premises and fled the scene shortly thereafter. A undisclosed amount of cash was reported stolen.

As part of the ongoing investigation, police will be releasing a photo of one of the suspects believed to be involved in the incident. Members of the public are asked to review the image carefully and contact police if they recognize the individual or have any relevant information.

Anyone in the area with video surveillance or dash camera footage from the early morning hours of September 1 is also asked to check their recordings for any suspicious activity.
