(WEST ELGIN, ON) - The Elgin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Elgin Detachment, has charged three individuals after a break and enter at a church in West Elgin.
On Sunday, August 10, 2025, at approximately 1:37 pm, police responded to a break and enter in West Elgin. Parties left the scene in a motor vehicle and were stopped shortly afterwards.
As a result of the investigation, Samantha WHITE, a 31-year-old from Malahide was charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
- Assault a Peace Officer
- Resist Peace Officer and
- Break, Enter a place - commit indictable offence
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute.
Ryan LOCKER, a 31-year-old from Aylmer was charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Break, Enter a place - with intent to commit indictable offence
Nickolas FORBES, a 30-year-old from St. Thomas was charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault
- Break, Enter a place - commit indictable offence
- Possess a Schedule I Substance - Cocaine
The accused parties were all released on an Undertaking and scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in St. Thomas on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
