(BROCKTON, ON) - On September 12, 2025, at approximately 3:14 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a collision involving a box truck on Concession 12 between Bruce Road 19 and Sideroad 5 Brant.

Police learned that the collision had taken place hours earlier, and the vehicle involved was no longer on scene. The investigating officer attended the collision scene to observe extensive damage to a bridge and alerted the Municipality of Brockton; the bridge is closed for an unknown extent of time.

A 48-year-old resident of Hanover has been charged with:
