(KINGSTON, ON) - There were no injuries in a two-vehicle single vehicle collision just east of Kingston, but one driver has been charged.
On Monday, June 2, 2025, just before 5:00 pm, officers with the Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision the westbound lanes near the Joyceville Road interchange.
The large cargo truck and car had both been westbound when the truck collided with the back of the car. Traffic was slow in the area due to road work.
Frontenac Paramedics attended as a precaution, but no serious injuries were reported. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
As a result of then investigation, a 33-year-old man from Brampton has been charged with careless driving.
