(CHAMPLAIN TWP., ON) - One motorist has been charged after a two-vehicle collision near Hawkesbury.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, shortly before 6:30 pm, officers with the Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the scene on County Road 34 at Deslauriers Street.

A car and sport utility vehicle had collided. No injuries were reported.

As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old man from L’Orignal was charged with careless driving.
