(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged in connection with an assault investigation in Courtland.

At approximately 8:27 pm on Saturday, August 9, 2025, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported assault on Talbot Street in Courtland.

The investigation determined that two individuals became involved in an interaction inside a residence, during which one person physically assaulted the other. No injuries were reported.

As a result, 35-year-old Kyle GREEN of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Monday, August 11, 2025.
