(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged following an investigation into a dispute that led to an assault in Walsingham.

On Friday, August 15, 2025, at approximately 12:20 pm, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a dispute on Allan Street in Walsingham.

The investigation revealed that two individuals were involved in an interaction on the property, during which one person physically assaulted the other. No injuries were reported.

As a result, 31-year-old Jessica WETHERUP of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

• Assault

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
