CHARGE LAID IN BREAK-AND-ENTER INCIDENT

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged in connection with a break-and-enter investigation in Simcoe.

On Saturday, November 22, 2025, at approximately 3:56 pm, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break-and-enter in progress on Orchard Avenue in Simcoe.

The investigation determined that an individual was attempting to gain entry into a garage on the property.

Officers located the suspect at the scene and took them into custody without incident.

As a result, 25-year-old Wyatt DOUGLAS of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Break, enter a place - commit indictable offence

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
