(HURON EAST, ON) - The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident in the Town of Seaforth, Municipality of Huron East on December 07, 2025.

On Sunday, December 07, 2025, just before 1:00 pm, Huron OPP officers were contacted about an individual who was reportedly unwanted at a residence in Seaforth. Police located the suspect, who proceeded to resist arrest and assault the arresting officers. The accused was eventually taken into custody and charged as follows:

William FRAISER, 33 years-of-age of no fixed address was charged with:

  • Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest, - Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon, - Fail to Comply with Probation - (two counts)

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing where they were later released from custody. The accused has a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich on December 22, 2025.
