CHARGES LAID AGAINST CORUNNA RESIDENT IN INTERNET CHILD EXPLOITATION INVESTIGATION

(LAMBTON COUNTY, ON) - A Lambton County resident was arrested and charged following a child sexual exploitation investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit (CSEU), with assistance from the Lambton Detachment of the OPP and members of the OPP Digital Forensics Unit.

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, police executed a search warrant at a residence in the Town of Corunna and seized a number of electronic devices.

As a result of the investigation, Jesse DOWSWELL, 32 years old from Corunna, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography contrary to section 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code.

The accused was released from custody following a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
