CHARGES LAID FOLLOWING A DISTURBANCE CALL
(NORTH PERTH, ON) - The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with multiple criminal offences following a call for a disturbance in the Municipality of North Perth.
On December 2, 2025 shortly after 1:30 pm the OPP responded to a call for service outside of a business located on Mitchell Rd S, in the town of Listowel regarding an individual who was causing damage to property and who had threatened and assaulted another person.
The accused, 30-year-old, Josh Dehaan has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Assault with a Weapon
- Uttering Threats
- Mischief Under $5,000
- Fail to Comply with Probation
The accused has been arrested and is currently in police custody, scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on December 3, 2025
