(WEST PERTH, ON) - Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following a home invasion at a residence in the Municipality of West Perth.

On July 12, 2025, the Perth County OPP launched an investigation after a receiving information that two individuals broke into a residence and assaulted the homeowner.

Daniel TIPERT, 33 years old of Stratford, has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada:

• Break and Enter
• Mischief Under $5,000
• Failure to Comply with Release Order
• Uttering Threats - Cause Death or Bodily Harm
• Aggravated Assault
• Assault with a Weapon

TIPERT is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on June 16, 2025
