(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Two individuals were charged following an investigation into an intimate partner violence incident.

At approximately 7:11 pm on Saturday, July 26, 2025, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault at an address in Norfolk County.

Through investigation, it was determined that two individuals had an interaction on the premises, during which one person was physically assaulted. No injuries were reported.

As a result, a 34-year-old resident of Brantford, Ontario, was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

• Assault - spousal

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.

A 32-year-old resident of Brantford, Ontario, was also arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

• Failure to comply with Undertaking

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
