(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged following an investigation into an incident involving intimate partner violence.

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at approximately 2:38 pm, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of threats at an address in Norfolk County.

The investigation determined that, during an interaction between two individuals, one person uttered threats toward the other. It was also learned that, on a previous occasion, the victim had been physically assaulted and had their property damaged by the same individual.

As a result, a 50-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:

• Uttering threats - damage property, - Assault - spousal, - Mischief - destroys or damages property

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
