(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Four people have been charged as a result of investigations into separate incidents of intimate partner violence.

On Friday, August 29, 2025, at approximately 11:14 pm, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault at an address in Norfolk County.

The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction on the property, during which one physically assaulted the other. No injuries were reported.

As a result, a 56-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

• Assault with a weapon - spousal

Later that same day, at approximately 8:20 pm, the Norfolk County OPP responded to a report of an assault at another address in Norfolk County.

The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction on the property, during which one physically assaulted the other and damaged the victim’s property. No injuries were reported.

As a result, a 44-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:

• Assault with a weapon - spousal, - Mischief - destroys or damages property - two counts

On Saturday, August 30, 2025, at approximately 10:48 pm, the Norfolk County OPP responded to a report of an assault at another address in Norfolk County.

The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction on the property, during which one physically assaulted the other. No injuries were reported.

As a result, a 32-year-old from Oakville, Ontario, was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:

• Assault - spousal, - Failure to comply with Undertaking

On Sunday, August 31, 2025, at approximately 1:37 am, the Norfolk County OPP responded to a report of an assault at another address in Norfolk County.

The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction on the property, during which one physically assaulted the other. Minor injuries were reported.

As a result, a 35-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:

• Assault - two counts

The accused individuals are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
