(MISSISSIPPI MILLS TWP, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following an intimate partner violence investigation.

Lanark County OPP officers investigated an incident in Mississippi Mills Township on Saturday, June 7, 2025. This resulted in the arrest of a 39-year-old man.

The male has been charged with:

• Assault causing bodily harm
• Assault - two counts
• Utter threats - two counts
• Mischief

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on July 7, 2025.

The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
