CHARGES LAID IN INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE CASE
(PERTH, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following an intimate partner violence investigation.
Lanark County OPP officers with assistance from an OPP Canine unit responded to a disturbance call outside of a residence in Perth on November 29, 2025, just after 10:30 pm
As a result of investigation, a 60-year-old male from Perth has been charged with:
- Mischief - destroys or damages property - two counts
- Failure to comply with a release order - three counts
The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth at a later date.
The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
