CHARGES LAID FOLLOWING INTIMATE PARTNER VIOENCE INVESTIGATION

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged following an investigation into an intimate partner violence incident.

On Friday, November 14, 2025, at approximately 7:37 pm, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported assault at an address in Norfolk County.

The investigation determined that two individuals were involved in an interaction inside a residence, during which one person physically assaulted the other, stole and damaged their property, and uttered threats. No injuries were reported.

As a result, a 30-year-old Oxford County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:

• Assault - spousal
• Mischief - domestic, - Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm - spousal, - Theft under $5,000

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
