COLLISION IN OXFORD COUNTY SENDS FOUR TO HOSPITAL


(EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK, ON) - A two vehicle collision has sent four individuals to hospital.

On July 22, 2025, at approximately 3:30 pm, members of the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with members of Oxford County Fire Services and Oxford County Paramedic Services responded to a collision at the intersection of Oxford Road 8 and 16th Line in the Township of East Zorra-Tavistock.

Two passenger vehicles collided. The four occupants of one vehicle were taken to hospital. Two individuals have non-life-threatening injuries, one individual has serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and one individual is in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing. The Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team is on scene assisting with the investigation.

Oxford Road 8 is closed between 15th Line and 17th Line.

16th Line is closed at Braemar Sideroad and Oxford Road 5.

The roads are expected to open shortly.
