(WHITEWATER REGION TWP, ON) - Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a three-vehicle collision in Whitewater Region that sent one of the involved drivers to hospital by air ambulance.      

The collision occurred on May 30, 2025, at approximately 4:20 pm, on Highway 17 near Finnerty Road. One of the involved drivers was taken to an Ottawa-area hospital by Air Ornge. The driver’s injuries were later determined to be non-life threatening and non-life altering. The two other drivers were released from the scene with no apparent injuries.

Highway 17 was shut down for approximately thirty minutes in order to allow Air Ornge to attend the scene. The investigation is continuing.
