COLLISION INVESTIGATION LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGE

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged in connection with an impaired driving-related collision investigation near Teeterville.

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, at approximately 1:50 am, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck on Kelvin Road, just outside of Teeterville.

The investigation determined that the vehicle was travelling on Kelvin Road when it left the roadway and entered a ditch. No injuries were reported.

Officers located the driver at the scene and, following a roadside sobriety test, took the individual into custody without incident.

As a result, 18-year-old Levi VANDENHEUVEL of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, January 6, 2025.
