(BROCKTON, ON) - On July 11, 2025, at approximately 1:03 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Yonge Street South at Highway 9, Municipality of Brockton.

Police attended and discovered that a vehicle had struck a light standard. The driver was transported to local hospital with minor injuries. The investigating officer attended the hospital and detected signs of impairment.

As a result of the investigation, Leobardo SANCHEZ SANCHEZ, 28-years-old, of the Municipality of South Bruce, was charged with:

• Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80 plus, CC 320.14(1)(b)

The accused is set to appear on August 24, 2025, at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charge.
