(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) - On July 1, 2025, at approximately 11:08 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Bruce Road 6 east of Ripley, Township of Huron-Kinloss.

Police attended and discovered that a pick-up truck had entered the ditch, the driver departed prior to police arrival.

As a result of the investigation, Rodney HUSK, 54-years-old, resident of the Municipality of Kincardine, was charged with:

• Operation while impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a)
• Dangerous operation, CC 320.13(1)
• Fail to remain, HTA 200(1)(a)
• Fail to report accident, HTA 199(1)

The accused is set to appear on August 13, 2025, at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charges.
