(KINCARDINE, ON) - On July 23, 2025, at approximately 6:40 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a collision at the intersection of Highway 21 and Bruce Road 20, Municipality of Kincardine.

Police attended with Bruce County Paramedic Services and Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services, where they discovered a collision between two passenger vehicles which were blocking the intersection. One of the involved drivers was transported to a local hospital with injuries. Northbound traffic on Highway 21 was closed for a short duration but has since been reopened.

A 24-year-old motorist from Kingston has been charged with:

  • Fail to yield to traffic on through highway, HTA 136(1)(b)
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance, CAIA 2(1)(a)
