(NORTH ALGONA-WILBERFORCE TWP., ON.) - The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) closed a section of Highway 60 to eastbound traffic Sunday afternoon for several hours following a collision.

On September 28, 2025, just before 1:00 pm, OPP officers responded to a collision involving two vehicles near the intersection of Highway 41 and Highway 60. As a result of the collision two people were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation required that the eastbound lane of Highway 60 be closed to traffic for several hours.

The eastbound lane was reopened just after 4:30 pm The investigation is continuing.
