On July 11th, 2025, at approximately 4:51 pm, members of City of Kawartha Lakes OPP with assistance from Fire and EMS responded to a report of a serious vehicle collision on Monck Road near Lake Dalrymple.

As a result of the collision, an 83-year-old male was transported by Orange to a trauma hospital.

The area was closed for several hours while OPP members trained in collision reconstruction measured and documented the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.

The road as been reopened at this time.
