COLLISION RESULTS IN DANGEROUS DRIVING ARREST


(KINGSTON, ON) - A collision on Highway 401 in Kingston has resulted in a dangerous driving arrest.

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, at approximately 9:30 am, officers with the Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a two-vehicle collision on the eastbound lanes, east of Sydenham Road.

A car had read-ended a pick-up truck, with the car then rolling over in the ditch. No serious injuries were reported, although the car’s driver refused medical treatment at the scene.

As a result of the investigation, A 17-year-old male from Kingston has been arrested and charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston in November.
