(SOUTH BRUCE, ON) - On August 24, 2025, at approximately 4:17 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle parked in a live lane of traffic along Bruce Road 4, Municipality of South Bruce.

Officers attended the location and found the vehicle parked in the southbound lane with no lights on. After conversing with the driver, police detected signs of impairment. The driver was taken into custody and taken to a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) officer for further testing.

Daniel MCCHLERY, 34-years-old, resident of Wingham, was charged with:

• Operation while impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a)

The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Court of Justice on October 22, 2025, to answer to the charge.
