(DUFFERIN COUNTY) - Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Conn resident with impaired driving-related offences following a traffic stop.
On July 13, 2025, shortly after 11:30 am, officers were on general patrol when they observed a vehicle of concern. A traffic stop was conducted on Highway 10 in the Town of Mono.
While speaking with the male driver, officers noted signs of impairment, prompting an impaired driving investigation. The driver was subsequently arrested and charged.
Callum MARCEAU, a 28-year-old male, from Conn has been charged with:
- Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
- Having care or control of a motor vehicle with liquor readily available
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Speeding 1 - 49 Km/h over posted limit
The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their driver’s licence was suspended, and their vehicle impounded.
