(OXFORD COUNTY, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment were called to the eastbound lanes of Highway 401, near Folden’s Line for the report of an altercation between two drivers.

On June 3, 2025, at approximately 8:30 am, members of Oxford OPP investigated an incident involving a transport truck driver and a pick-up truck driver.

As a result of the investigation, the transport truck driver, Paramvir KHAIRA, 35-years-old, of Whitby has been charged with:

• Dangerous Operation
• Assault with A Weapon

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on July 29, 2025.

No injuries were reported.
