(KINCARDINE, ON) - On June 25, 2025, at approximately 3:24 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a disturbance at a campsite along Jordan Road, Municipality of Kincardine.
Police attended and learned that a dispute had taken place between two individuals; one of which had then operated a motor vehicle. In speaking with the individual, the investigating officer detected signs of impairment. They were taken into custody and transported for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old resident of Huron-Kinloss, was charged with:
- Operation while impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a)
- Refusal to comply with demand, CC 320.15(1)
- Uttering threats, CC 264.1(1)(a)
- Take motor vehicle without consent, CC 335(1)
The accused is set to appear on July 16, 2025, at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charges.
