(INGERSOLL, ON) - A 41-year-old male from Ingersoll is facing charges after a report of a disturbance at a residence.

On October 3rd, 2025, at approximately 6:00 pm, members of the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment responded to a report of a disturbance that had occurred at a residence on Thames Street South, in the Town of Ingersoll.

Joshua Tackaberry, 41-years-old, of Ingersoll, is charged with:

• Assault with a Weapon
• Uttering Threats - Cause death or Bodily Harm

No injuries were reported as a result of the disturbance. 

The accused was released from custody and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on December 9th, 2025.
