(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - Disturbance results in charges for multiple individuals.

On August 9, 2025, at 4:55 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a disturbance involving multiple individuals, at a residence on Fanshawe Park Road West in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre.

Investigation revealed there was an altercation between multiple individuals after a dispute over the private sale of a vehicle.

One involved person received minor injuries as a result.

Alwalid EQDAIH, a 21-year-old, Mahmoud EQDAIH, a 20-year-old and Saad QAMAR, a 22-year-old, all of London have been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Assault

The accused have been released from police custody and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on September 4, 2025.

Further investigation revealed a firearm was observed during the altercation.

As a result, Ruben JACOB, a 26-year-old of Windsor, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Possession of imitation weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • Carrying concealed weapon
  • Poss of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order (two counts)
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order (two counts)

The accused was held for bail.
