DOMESTIC ASSAULT INVESTIGATION - ONE PERSON ARRESTED and CHARGED

(BRANT, ON) - Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following a domestic-related incident in Burford, Ontario.

On November 22, 2025, at approximately 12:50 am, Brant County OPP responded to a 911 phone call regarding a possible disturbance at a residence in the town of Burford, Brant County.

Investigation determined that a verbal argument between three individuals escalated into a physical altercation. No injuries were reported as a result. The involved parties are known to one another.

 As a result of the investigation, one 38-year-old male from Welland was charged with:

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
