(MUNICIPALITY OF PORT HOPE, ON) - Members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with assault after receiving information of a domestic dispute at the 401 west bound off ramp at Toronto Road in Port Hope, Ontario.

Officers spoke to an individual who witnessed the assault. As a result of the investigation a 47-year-old male from Bowmanville, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

• Assault - Spousal

The accused was released with conditions and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on a date in July 2025.
