(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE, ON) - On August 11, 2025, at approximately 3:58 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a collision along Sideroad 5 Elderslie, Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.

Police attended and observed a single vehicle collision involving a hydro pole. The investigating officer spoke to the driver and detected signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Andrew PANTLIN, 45-years-old, of the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie, was charged with:

• Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80 plus, CC 320.14(1)(b)
• Dangerous operation, CC 320.13(1)

The accused is set to appear on September 10, 2025, at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charges.
